Class Excuse Policy
As per policy made in collaboration with the Provost's Office, the Dr. Bob Smith Health Center does not provide medical or mental health excuses for class absences. Instead, students may complete an Absence from Class Form to indicate they were seen by a healthcare provider, though final decisions on excused absences remain at the discretion of faculty.
Cost of Services
The Health Center provides a range of medical and mental health services at little to no cost for eligible students. While most services are covered by the student health fee, some specialized treatments and prescriptions may have additional charges.
