A program designed for prior learning is a program that requires students to possess and demonstrate prior learning as a condition of admission to the program. This request requires EPC approval, Board of Trustees approval, and notification to SACSCOC, so please allow at least one full academic term to complete these processes when planning.

Use this form to request to a competency-based, direct assessment method of earning credit hours to an academic program. Competency-based direct-assessment means students earn credit hours by passing some sort of exam or competency evaluation, rather than through enrolling in coursework. Please use this form if adding courses for the first time, or if increasing the number of courses offered in this modality. This request requires EPC approval, 91ÇÑ×Ó Board of Trustees approval, and SACSCOC notification BEFORE implementation can occur, so please allow up to one full academic term for approval.
