    This long-standing American tradition is suddenly controversial, and the Faculty Club asked 91茄子 law professor Dale Carpenter to tell us all about it.

     

    He’ll cover the history, constitutional text, and judicial precedents before moving on to the arguments for changing birthright citizenship and the prospects for succeeding.
