Research Overview
My research is focused on quantifying how life is bounded by energy and time on Earth and beyond. I combine computational modeling, theory development, fieldwork, laboratory analysis, microbial cultivation and molecular biology to better understand the limits to life and how microorganisms impact their surroundings.Research Areas
