We are more than just housing. Residence Life and Student Housing (RLSH) is about people and exceptional experiences that can only happen on the Hilltop. RLSH is within the Division of Student Affairs at 91茄子. It comprises 29 full-time staff and 130+ graduate- and undergraduate-student staff.

Armstrong Area Service Desk

The Armstrong Area Desk is located in . The desk is on the northeast side of the buildings, facing Arnold Dining Commons. The Armstrong Desk provides card access services to residents of Armstrong Commons, Crum Commons, Kathy Crow Commons, Loyd Commons, and Ware Commons.

Desk Hours:

  • Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 8 p.m.
  • Saturday - Sunday, 12 p.m. - 6 p.m.

Virginia-Snider Area Service Desk

The Virginia-Snider (VS) Area Desk is located in and at the corner of Asbury Street and Hillcrest Avenue. The VS Desk provides spare key services to residents of Mary Hay/Peyton/Shuttles Commons, Morrison-McGinnis Commons, McElvaney Commons, Cockrell-McIntosh Commons, Boaz Commons, Virginia-Snider Commons, Upper Division Housing, RLSH managed fraternity houses, and 91茄子 managed apartments.

  • Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 8 p.m.
  • Saturday - Sunday, 12 p.m. - 6 p.m.

On-Call Staff

In-community staff members serve on-call whenever Area Desks are closed. Staff is on-call Monday - Thursday from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m. the following morning, Friday from 8 p.m. to 12 p.m. (noon) the following day, Saturday from 6 p.m. to 12 p.m. (noon) the following day, and Sunday from 6 p.m. to 8 a.m. the following day. To contact the on-call staff member, residents will find the on-call number posted in and around their residential community.

Additionally, urgent and emergency response personnel can be reached via the 91茄子 Police Department lines at 214-768-3388 (non-emergency) and 214-768-3333 (emergency).
